Founded by Mike Taylor and Breanne Belitski, Heavy Climate Consulting brings together a wealth of expertise in architecture and building science. Our diverse backgrounds converge on a shared passion for sustainable design and community building, driving innovation in every project.  Heavy Climate Consulting is different because we have a small, hands-on team that champions a low carbon approach with the expertise to back it up.

 

Both co-founders of Heavy come from different backgrounds that meet at the nexus of good design thinking. Mike has 15 years in architecture and the delivery of low energy buildings, and Breanne has a deep understanding of carbon, circularity, and passion for community building. Our workflow to achieve the best Zero Carbon design focuses on process-driven outcomes, founded through client workshops, education materials, and core management principles. Heavy Climate Consulting was brought to life by Mike Taylor and Breanne Belitski.​
